Bel Canto’s Dental Hygienist Monika is expecting a baby at end of December. She’ll be away on maternity leave from January through December 2020. Join us in congratulating her and wishing her an enjoyable leave.
Monika has been serving the patients of Bel Canto Dental clinic for two years. She was born in Winnipeg and raised in Vancouver. She received her Dental Hygiene certificate from Vancouver Island University and then went on to earn a Bachelors of Dental Sciences degree at UBC. After graduation she practiced at various clinics throughout Greater Vancouver for eight years before moving to North Vancouver where she joined Bel Canto Dental.
This will be Monika’s first child. She’s excited about raising a family and looking forward to all the joyful moments that come with parenting including the future prospects of helping her child discover the beautiful outdoor environment of the North Shore.
Monika deeply loves serving the people and the relationship she and the clinic have developed with the community. She likes being a key part of your preventative health care, since dental care impacts every aspect of life. She’ll be returning to that role after her maternity leave is complete. And don’t worry, we’ll continue to be looking after your dental hygiene needs while she’s away!
