What is Clearline?

What is the Treatment Process?
Your dentist will examine your teeth to ensure Clearline is the best treatment choice for you, before creating your customised treatment plan that will gradually move your teeth into more cosmetically pleasing positions. Your Clearline aligner trays will be especially created for you using BPA-free plastic. These aligners are smooth and comfortable as there are no brackets or wires to irritate your cheeks and lips.
All you need do is to wear the aligners for 22 hours each day, ideally only removing them for meals and for brushing and flossing. With Clearline, you will find it easy to look after your teeth and gums during treatment as you can brush and floss normally. The aligners are exchanged for the next set in the series every two to three weeks. We will want to monitor your progress, so you will need to see us approximately every 4 weeks.
These aligners are smooth and comfortable as there are no brackets or wires to irritate your cheeks and lips.
You may leave out your aligners for the occasional special event, but we would ask that you keep these intermissions to a minimum. Leaving your aligners out too frequently will negatively affect your treatment.
How Long Does Treatment Take to Complete?
Your dental needs are unique so treatment times will vary for each person. Adults typically complete treatment within six months, but more complicated tooth movements may take longer.
